Carpentry is a versatile trade qualification that prepares students for a career in the construction industry. In this course you will work with trade tools and learn the skills to build, install, finish and repair structures and fixtures for domestic and commercial developments. You will learn to interpret plans, calculate pitches and slopes and understand the safety requirements of building sites. Our Trade Instructors have current experience in the construction industry and bring together the theory and the practical requirements of the course, to help you develop skills and gain an understanding of what is needed to succeed. Once qualified, you will be known on-site as a Carpenter or Chippy.
