You’ll use tiles to create protective and decorative finishes and learn how to use tile-cutting tools to cut and shape tiles needed for edges, corners, or around obstacles.
Our Trade Instructors will ensure that you are abreast with current trends and techniques and will assist you to reach the highest standards.

Australia’s harsh climatic conditions ensure that there is always plenty of work for Painters and Decorators. In this course you will learn how to prepare surfaces and apply paints and other coatings, apply wallpaper, match colours and to work safely and effectively with tools and materials.
You will be taught how to use scaffolding safely in a construction setting, so that you will be ready to go on-site and work productively.
Once qualified, you will be known on-site as a Painter and can usually be recognised by your all-white clothing!

Carpentry is a versatile trade qualification that prepares students for a career in the construction industry.
In this course you will work with trade tools and learn the skills to build, install, finish and repair structures and fixtures for domestic and commercial developments.
You will learn to interpret plans, calculate pitches and slopes and understand the safety requirements of building sites.
Our Trade Instructors have current experience in the construction industry and bring together the theory and the practical requirements of the course, to help you develop skills and gain an understanding of what is needed to succeed.
